Older children are to come to school in their PE kits ONLY on their PE day.
Nursery children are not required to have a PE kit.

‘The primary physical education and sport premium is spent very well. Specialist teachers have been brought in to deliver high-quality physical education lessons. Additionally, pupils have benefited from access to a wide variety of after-school clubs, competitive events and special activities. 🏃♂️⚽🤸 National Sports Week at St Mary’s! 🤸⚽🏃♀️
On Friday, our whole school came together to celebrate National Sports Week and what a fantastic day it was!
We were delighted to team up with Sports for Champions to help raise awareness of the importance of sport, physical activity and the exciting career opportunities that sport can provide. We were also incredibly lucky to be joined by gymnast Winston Powell, who inspired us during a whole-school assembly by sharing his sporting journey and achievements.
Following the assembly, Winston led a fitness circuit with every class. The children had great fun taking part in a range of activities, learning why it is so important to keep our bodies moving and discovering simple exercises they can do at home to stay fit and healthy.
A special congratulations goes to Blake and Tommy, who raised an incredible amount of sponsorship money for the event. As a special reward for their fantastic fundraising efforts, they were given the opportunity to have their photo taken with Winston Powell!
The enthusiasm, energy and determination shown by all of our pupils throughout the day was wonderful to see. A huge thank you to Winston Powell and Sports for Champions for helping us create such a memorable experience for our children.

🎉Booster Treat for Y6 🎉
After the fantastic attendance at SATs Booster Club, our Year 6 children definitely deserved a treat! 💙
A huge thank you to Adv4nce Group for hosting an action-packed morning full of inflatable fun, including an assault course, bouncy castle and penalty shootout. The excitement didn’t stop there because we also enjoyed an epic whole-year-group dodgeball tournament! 🏃♂️⚽
