🐻If you go down to St Mary's today
You're sure of a big surprise
If you go into Nursery today
You'd better go in disguise!
For every bear that ever there was will gather there for certain
Because today's the day that Nursery have their picnic 🐻
Nursery have had some very special visitors this week. Some are fluffy, some are soft but all of them are very cuddly! Our teddy bears have had so much fun at school today, they have played, painted and practised their writing.
Thank you for coming to visit us! #nurserystm … See MoreSee Less

Nursery have been busy learning about the life cycle of a butterfly and watching the changes they make. We saw our little caterpillars grow bigger, spin a cocoon and emerge as beautiful butterflies. We gave them flowers and sugar syrup to grow strong and released them into the beautiful sunshine. #nurserystm #sciencestm … See MoreSee Less

This morning, Nursery walked to our local post box to deliver a very special letter to their favourite teddy bear to invite them to visit St Mary's next week! They walked very safely, listened to their grown ups very well and cannot wait for the letter to arrive! Well done, Nursery! ✉️📮🐻 #nurserystm … See MoreSee Less

Well done all
Nursery have been learning about different careers this week. They've talked about firefighters, police officers, construction workers, shop assistants, vets and even took a turn at the car wash! We finished our week off with a nice ice lolly to cool down after a fun, busy and very warm week! #nurserystm #rshestm … See MoreSee Less

What a wonderful time nursery had looking at different careers.
As part of our Catholic Life Pledge to care for God’s world, Nursery have been busy making minibeast hotels to help look after our environment!
Following on from our exciting World Environment Day visit from Rent-a-Beast, the children have been learning all about where minibeasts live and how we can protect their habitats.
We’ve been using natural materials to create safe and welcoming spaces for our tiny garden friends, showing love and respect for even the smallest of God’s creatures. 💚
Well done, Nursery — you’re truly living out our mission to care for our common home! 🙌🌿
