🎭📚✨ National Poetry Day 2026 ✨📚🎭
This morning, we celebrated National Poetry Day with a fantastic whole-school assembly, and what a performance it was! 🌟
Each year group took to the stage to perform a poem they had been rehearsing during their Readers’ Theatre sessions. From wonderful expression and clear voices to brilliant actions and confident performances, our children absolutely brought the words to life! 🎤👏 Their fantastic oracy skills were on full display and we were so proud of every single performer. ❤️

A huge congratulations to our amazing Year 4 children who have been working incredibly hard competing in the Emile Education Multiplication Tables Check Cup! The children have been putting their times table knowledge to the test, answering multiplication questions against the clock and competing against 23 schools in our regional heat.
Their hard work and determination have certainly paid off… we won our regional heat and are through to the NATIONAL FINALS! 🎉👏

Year 4 explored the value of digits in thousands, hundreds, tens and ones today. The children used place value grids and counters to represent different numbers and identify the value of each digit. This practical approach helped to strengthen their understanding of how numbers are composed and how a digit’s value changes depending on its position. #year4stm #mathsstm …
