Year 3 had a fantastic day out at Twycross Zoo 🌿🦒
The children took part in an engaging workshop all about the rainforest where they learned about the different layers and the animals that live within them. They also thought carefully about how our choices as shoppers can make a difference and how buying more sustainably can help to protect and save the rainforest.
During our visit we were lucky enough to see an amazing array of animals including playful monkeys, a gentle giant tortoise, curious meerkats and towering giraffes.
The children were full of enthusiasm asked thoughtful questions and represented the school beautifully throughout the day.
A wonderful trip full of learning responsibility and awe at God’s creation 🌍💚
