The poems performed were:
❤️🧺 Year 1 – Little Red Riding Hood
🦉🐱 Year 2 – The Owl and the Pussycat
🌿🐞 Year 3 – Nature Trail
🐉✨ Year 4 – The Tale of Custard the Dragon
🎉🗣️ Year 5 – The Word Party
⚠️📜 Year 6 – A Cautionary Verse
A huge well done to all our pupils – what a wonderful celebration of poetry! 🎬🎭

Up, up and away! Today, Year 2 had an exciting immersive experience as we transformed our classroom into an aeroplane to take an imaginary flight to the Arctic! Through role-play, they had their own boarding passes and experienced the journey from the South Pole to the North Pole before piecing together the story of our focus text – Poles Apart. #englishstm #year2stm … See MoreSee Less

Our Year 2s have been busy this week putting their writing skills to good use. They’ve created clear, step by step instructions to help our Reception children get ready for school each day. To make it extra special, four of our Year 2s went along to read their instructions to a group of reception children. #year2stm #receptionstm #englishstm #oracystm … See MoreSee Less

Today our Year 2 children explored place value using practical equipment. They worked with tens and ones on a place value grid, building numbers and seeing how digits represent their value.
The children loved moving the equipment around, grouping tens and ones and spotting patterns in numbers. #year2stm #mathsstm … See MoreSee Less
