Year 6 had a fantastic day celebrating NSPCC Number Day. We kicked things off with some tricky reasoning problems, working brilliantly in pairs and explaining our thinking clearly.
Although our planned visit to the cemetery for outdoor maths had to be postponed due to the weather, it certainly didn’t dampen our spirits! Instead, we took part in a maths-based pub quiz in teams of six and really showed off the fantastic maths skills we’ve been developing. A great day of teamwork, problem solving and resilience! 💙🔢

With great joy, we celebrate our Year 6 confirmands who received the Sacrament of Confirmation at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Newcastle with Bishop Timothy and Canon Paul. It was a deeply prayerful and holy celebration and we were incredibly proud of the reverence and faith shown by every child.

🎶 Soundtrack Your Story 🎶
Our Year 4, 5 & 6 children enjoyed a storytelling workshop for National Storytelling Week 2026, creating rap lyrics inspired by sound, rhythm and personal experience.
They now have the chance to enter a national writing competition, with winning work published in an anthology and some pieces performed by rapper Alim Kamara 🎤.
We cannot wait to see what they create ✨.
