Year 2 had a very special visitor today! Rose, who is a vet, came to visit the children to support their understanding of their current Science unit – Animals, including humans. Rose talked in great detail about what animals need to keep them happy and healthy! Thanks Rose! 🐶🐈 #sciencestm #year2stm … See MoreSee Less

I am sure Rose was brilliant and the children enjoyed her visit. Xx
Due to the snowy weather conditions, Year 2 and Year 6 had a joint PE lesson today playing various parachute games. We all had so much fun and worked very collaboratively! #pestm #year2stm #year6stm … See MoreSee Less

Thank you to Year 2 who have shared their Catholic Life Pledge in assembly today. They explained how, as part of their Geography fieldwork, they did a survey of the litter on our school grounds. After this, they decided that action needed to be taken and that we needed to stop littering as part of our Stewardship Catholic Social Teaching. #catholiclifestm #year2stm … See MoreSee Less

The children across the school have been celebrating Black History Month today. Each year group has been studying a different person who has made a difference in their field of work. Some examples included: Nelson Mandela, Mary Seacole, Stormzy, Adam Jogee (our local MP), Floella Benjamin (The Windrush) and Martin Luther King #historystm #year1stm #year2stm #year3stm #year4stm ##year5stm #year6stm … See MoreSee Less

Year 2 have had a lovely afternoon learning about World Mental Health day. We discussed the importance of talking to someone we trust about our big feelings so that they can help us.
We role played different ways we could start a conversation off when we want to talk to someone using different sentence openers.
Afterwards, we filled out a sheet that showed the people who are in our support circles and finally we finished the day off in the fresh air having fun playing duck duck goose! #WMHD2024 #year2stm … See MoreSee Less
