At St. Mary’s School, children wear a uniform because we believe that a uniform looks smart, wears well and contributes to a feeling of belonging to the school. Wearing a smart and appropriate uniform meets the needs of the three keys elements of our behaviour policy – to be respectful (in our manner and appearance), to be ready (in being well prepared and organised for the school day) and to be safe (in wearing appropriate clothing).
